When the beer is poured into the glass, it often takes on a hazy pale golden color, with a white and persistent foam rising to the top. The taste at the entrance is usually quite refreshing, and the body of this beer is lighter than that of Macau Golden Beer. The malt sweetness is rather restrained, while the faint acidity and subtle spice notes (possibly from the yeast) form the main flavor thread. The finish is generally clean and crisp, and sometimes there is a hint of aftertaste.
The launch of Macau’s light beer is a response by the brand to the increasingly diverse beer consumption market.
